Pioneering co-living development to deliver 349 homes in Brent Cross Town

Brent Cross Town, the £8 billion, 180-acre mixed-use park town being delivered in partnership by Related Argent and Barnet Council – has partnered with leading co-living developer Halcyon Development Partners (‘Halcyon’) to bring the town’s first co-living scheme to life. The development will be funded by DTZ Investors and operated under their established Folk Co-living brand.

Set to deliver a distinctive co-living development, offering an exceptional residential experience that complements the town’s emerging mixed-use environment. The scheme will include 349 co-living homes, a variety of shared amenity spaces, and vibrant outdoor areas. Situated near the new high street, Merchant Street, and the main public space, Neighbourhood Square, the development is just a three-minute walk from Brent Cross West station, offering connections to St Pancras International in as little as 12 minutes.

Partnering to shape the future of co-living

With growing demand for co-living accommodation, we are proud to bring our expertise as Quantity Surveyors and Employer’s Agent to support this project through its early stages and beyond. Redefining co-living from concept to community

This new co-living building will be part of a developing ‘multi-generational quarter’ that will also include the town’s first later living scheme, along with affordable and for-sale homes. These will be woven together with inviting courtyards and gardens, creating a truly diverse and integrated community. Designed by Assael Architecture, the development will draw on insights from earlier co-living schemes to offer a best-in-class living experience. The project team will work collaboratively throughout the design process, engaging proactively with local residents and stakeholders ahead of submitting a planning application.
