Our team is working directly with our client on their 287 apartments acquired from within the wider Goodmayes masterplan, which comprises 568 homes. We are appointed as Employer’s Agent, Clerk of Works, and Quality Managers on the 287 homes.
Our role involves ensuring the project is delivered to the highest standards of quality, compliance, and design intent. We monitor construction, manage quality assurance, and coordinate with the design and delivery teams to safeguard every aspect of our clients portion of the development from start to finish.
Transforming the Crossrail Corridor
Goodmayes is a major mixed use regeneration project transforming a former Homebase site into a high quality, sustainable neighbourhood. The masterplan comprises seven buildings ranging from two to twenty storeys, arranged around a new civic square and extensive landscaping. The development delivers 568 tenure blind homes, including 35 percent affordable housing, alongside a range of community and commercial uses such as a Digital Music Hub, childcare and co working space, a gym, and cafés. Over half of the site is dedicated to high-quality public realm, with more than eighty new trees and pedestrian connections that link seamlessly to Goodmayes Station.
Homes across the masterplan are designed for long term comfort and durability, featuring dual aspect layouts where possible and private outdoor spaces. Goodmayes promotes sustainable travel as a car free development, supported by disabled parking, an electric car club, and a Sustainable Transport Hub offering bikes and micro mobility options.
Designed by Rolfe Judd, the development integrates innovative public realm, active community uses, and environmentally led design measures including air source heat pumps, photovoltaic panels, and biodiverse green spaces, contributing to a 61 percent reduction in carbon emissions.
