The Circle Development team swapped their desks for running shoes, to take part in a 10km charity run at Battersea Park to support Hestia Charity. Hestia provides vital support for victims of domestic abuse across London and the South East, offering safe spaces and essential resources to those in need.

The event was about more than just running—it was a chance to come together as a team to make a difference. Participating in events like the Battersea Park charity run not only strengthens our bonds as colleagues but also highlights the positive the benefits of staying active. Working together toward a shared goal—whether it’s completing a 5km or 10km run or supporting a meaningful cause—reminds us of the value of collaboration and community spirit to drive positive change. It’s through these shared experiences that we grow stronger as a team and make a difference beyond the workplace.

With plenty of smiles (and a few tired legs), the evening saw some incredible efforts, including several team members achieving new personal bests. The total donations reached £1,800 against a target of £1,000, which is a fantastic result. We’re proud to support Hestia and their incredible work, and we encourage anyone who can to contribute to this worthy cause.

A big well done to everyone who took part including; Charlie England, Florence Dutton, Dean Wittering MRICS, Dillon Carson MRICS, Chloe Brierton MCIOB, Alexander Hudson, Alex Alba, Joe Cutler FRICS, Oliver Grindle MRICS, Cameron Cladd and Phil Swainston.

The success of our charity run is just one example of how coming together as a team for a meaningful cause can create positive change, and we look forward to continuing to support charities and strengthen our community.
