We are pleased to report that our redevelopment project for Westminster Under School, Chapter House, is progressing well. Following the completion of the roof-metal decking pre-Christmas break, and the first concrete pour in early January 2025, it has been a very strong start for this project.
With floor demolition ongoing, the next phase will focus on the fit-out, which is set to begin in the coming weeks. We continue to work closely with MYCO, the main contractor, and look forward to delivering a best in class learning environment for Westminster School.
Transforming Chapter House
Chapter House is set to transform a 3,266m2 former office building into a modern educational facility, repurposing the existing building to save carbon and reduce environmental impact, in line with Westminster Under School’s commitment to sustainability. The redevelopment will feature light-filled classrooms, large group spaces, a spacious library, and specialist music, science, and IT facilities. Designed in consultation with students, parents, and staff, the building will also include a welcoming atrium and informal meeting spaces.
Sustainability is a key focus, with the project following a carbon conscious office to school conversion. We have managed the planning and procurement process to ensure that the redevelopment meets environmental and functional standards, from energy efficiency to material choices.
