The BeCa has reached a key construction milestone, with the eastern tower now topping out at 19 storeys. This moment marks significant progress for the development and highlights the continued transformation of the Old Kent Road corridor.
Located at 651 Old Kent Road, The BeCa will deliver 170 design-led apartments inspired by New York loft living. The scheme blends bold industrial architecture with generous residential spaces, forming the first phase of Avanton’s wider Ruby Triangle masterplan. Once complete, it will introduce high-quality homes alongside new retail and shared spaces, contributing to a growing and vibrant neighbourhood.
A collaborative delivery approach
The project brings together Avanton and Housing Growth Partnership, with Farrells leading the architectural design and aca studios supporting the construction phase. HG Construction is delivering the build, alongside CGP | MEP Ltd as M&E consultant and Whitby Wood as structural engineer. The coordinated approach across the team has enabled strong progress on site and a consistent focus on quality throughout delivery.
