Planning has officially been granted for Plot 23, the first co-living development at Brent Cross Town. As Employer’s Agent and Quantity Surveyor on this landmark scheme, we at Circle Development are proud to play a key role in bringing 352 unit co-living scheme to life in one of London’s most ambitious regeneration projects.
This milestone marks an exciting step forward in the evolution of Brent Cross Town, 180-acre mixed-use park town being delivered in partnership by Related Argent and Barnet Council. The new co-living development is led by Halcyon Development Partners, funded by DTZ Investors, and will be operated under their respected Folk Co-living brand.
We’re working alongside Assael Architecture, who are designing the scheme, to deliver an innovative residential experience that champions community, connection, and quality living. Residents will benefit from a range of high-quality shared amenities, vibrant outdoor areas, and immediate access to the emerging high street, Merchant Street, and the town’s main public space, Neighbourhood Square. With Brent Cross West station just a three-minute walk away, the site offers exceptional connectivity, including 12-minute links to St Pancras International.
Supporting the future of co-living in London
At Circle Development, we’ve been proud to bring our dual expertise to the forefront of this project by ensuring diligent cost management and robust client-side delivery oversight from the earliest stages. As Quantity Surveyors, we are focused on precision, cost transparency, and value for money. As Employer’s Agent, we work to make sure our client’s best interests remain at the heart of every decision made and every action carried out on-site.
This new development is more than just a housing scheme, it forms a key component of the town’s emerging multi-generational quarter, which will also include affordable housing, homes for sale, and later living schemes, all thoughtfully connected through courtyards, green spaces, and walkable streets.
With the rising demand for co-living options across London, we’re proud to help deliver a scheme that not only meets housing needs but also fosters meaningful communities.
As the project progresses into its next phases, we look forward to working closely with the wider design and delivery team, local stakeholders, and our partners to bring this transformative development to life.
