Circle Development is proud to announce our appointment as Clerk of Works for St John’s Wood Square, a landmark development that is redefining super-prime residential living in central London.
Led by St John’s Wood Square Development Limited, this 5.5-acre project occupies a historically significant site, formerly home to the King’s Troop, Royal Horse Artillery. The development will introduce a refined residential neighbourhood comprising 11 townhouses, 109 private apartments, and 59 affordable homes, set across nine thoughtfully designed buildings ranging from three to six storeys.
A key feature of the scheme is the restoration and adaptive reuse of the Grade II listed Riding School, which will become a central amenity for residents and house the concierge team. This element reflects the development’s unique character—respecting the site’s historic fabric while delivering architecture of lasting quality. The project is targeting WELL Platinum and BREEAM Excellent certification for its shell and core works, affirming its commitment to sustainable design.
Our appointment as Clerk of Works signals a commitment to precision, integrity, and quality. What’s next?
We are currently supporting the scheme through its shell and core construction phase, working in close collaboration with an expert project team. This includes Multiplex, serving as main contractor, Squire and Partners, who are leading on architectural design, Robert Bird Group, providing structural and civil engineering expertise, and Hoare Lea, responsible for MEP consultancy. Together, this group brings an impressive depth of knowledge and shared dedication to the delivery of a truly exemplar development.
