What expertise and background do you bring to the table?
I graduated from university in 2024 with a degree in Sport and Exercise Science. In early February 2026, I began a part-time conversion master’s degree in Quantity Surveying at London Metropolitan University, just one week before starting my role at Circle. As I was new to the industry, I initially had limited background knowledge. However, being surrounded by such an experienced team at Circle has significantly accelerated my learning and made the transition both smooth and enjoyable.
As I am new to the industry, my role within the company is focused on learning and gaining experience, supporting the team where possible across different types and stages of projects. Currently, my responsibilities include both pre- and post-contract administration. These duties involve taking measurements of buildings for cost plans and assisting with the preparation and organisation of valuations.
What excites you about joining Circle, and what are your goals for the future?
At present, I am on a steep learning curve, gaining experience in producing quantities and project cost documentation. I am finding that combining the practical experience I am gaining through my project work at Circle with the theory from my studies is a very effective way to develop my knowledge and skills. I believe the opportunities provided by Circle will continue to complement my studies, which in turn will enhance the value I bring to the company.
What is your favourite project?
My favourite project I have worked on since joining Circle has been Hardess Yard, a modern co-living development with extensive amenity and co-working space located in the heart of Brixton. Having grown up nearby, I have witnessed first-hand the development of the area, and being involved in one of these exciting projects myself has been a particularly rewarding experience.
What brings you joy outside of work?
Outside of work, I spend much of my free time playing sport and keeping fit. I have played rugby at Beckenham RFC since the age of five, and it continues to occupy much of my evenings and weekends during the winter season. During the summer, I enjoy playing a variety of sports that are not always available in the winter, including tennis, golf, and cricket. I also enjoy spending my free time socialising and meeting with friends.
