What expertise and background do you bring to the table?
I started my career through an internship as a Trainee Quantity Surveyor, where I carried out stock condition surveys, prepared meeting minutes and gained valuable client exposure. I then completed a BSc in Construction Management at Nottingham Trent University, where my dissertation focused on the decarbonisation of steel within the UK construction industry.
I have been assigned to the Trehus and Beech Street projects, both of which have a strong carbon focus that aligns with my interest in sustainable construction. I will be joining during the post contract stage, where I look forward to learning Circle’s processes, supporting project delivery and building strong relationships with both clients and contractors.
Having spent the last year researching the decarbonisation of steel and attending a range of carbon focused industry events, I hope to bring that knowledge and enthusiasm to both the team and the wider business.
What excites you about joining Circle, and what are your goals for the future?
Circle’s culture and ambition really stood out to me. It is a fast growing business with a talented team of professionals who are committed to continually improving. I am excited to learn from experienced colleagues, develop my own skills and contribute to the continued growth of the business. I also hope to bring my passion for sustainability and carbon conscious construction to future projects.
What is your favourite project?
I am currently working on the Trehus and Beech Street projects. Both are exciting opportunities to learn, develop my experience in the post contract stage and contribute to the successful delivery of high quality developments.
What brings you joy outside of work?
I have played American football for six years and previously represented Team Ireland. The sport has taught me the importance of teamwork, discipline and performing under pressure, and those are qualities I aim to bring into my role at Circle.
